This listing will help you find exciting places and activities for your next family outing.

Our aim is to develop an international network of useful contacts for families travelling with children. Help us grow this section of the website by adding your snippets of useful information.

The listing includes :

nature reserves & botanical gardens,
camping sites,
nature lodges & holiday resorts,
outdoor child-friendly restaurants, and
children-oriented environmental activities.

We are also in the process of compiling useful information on :

home schooling,
first aid and medicine kits, and
vaccinations.

And whenever we hear of something really cool you could do with your children, we'll add it to the listing of must do's and put it in our newsletter.

When it comes to choosing an activity, we'd like to suggest that you consider the activity as a means to discover nature in a different way. Like mounting biking to get further than on foot, or paraglyding to see from above what is underneath. Not to go diving for the sake of breathing through an aparatus at a record-breaking depth, but to explore a colourful underwater world. To climb rocks and actually smell the rock, feel its warmth just before sunset and discover the little bugs in the crevasses. And however much excitement we feel when compiling this list, we do try to remember that all activities should be suitable for under 14 years. Please forgive us if exciting activities slipped through that are rated 14+.
